Over the course of 2020 Dominvs group has begun to implement its strategy to diversify into the residential market over the next five years. The business has seen significant progress in its aims of expanding beyond its London heartland and looking at private residential and joint venture opportunities across the UK.

On the development side, it has been a year of excellent progress on residential construction projects. The ongoing works at Palmers Green and Fairbridge Road in London have remained on track and on budget throughout the year, and are now set to be completed ahead of schedule.

The joint venture investment in Yorkshire Country Properties has seen Dominvs group expand its geographical reach into the buoyant regional housing market in Yorkshire, and create new ties with an expert local housebuilder with an excellent reputation in the area. Under the terms of the new partnership, Dominvs group and Yorkshire Country Properties will benefit from the revenue generated by sales, and Dominvs group will have the option to join in later phases of the new Shepley development as an extension to this joint venture.

New personnel have been equally important, and the latter part of the year has seen the three senior appointments with invaluable experience in the residential and retirement sectors. In August Adam Ratzker joined Dominvs group as its new Commercial Director from Galliard Homes, where he helped to form some of the property developer’s largest JVs and partnerships. In September, Ian Trinder was appointed as Chief Financial Officer from Pegasus Life, a later-living developer, and most recently, Ian Fergusson joined as the new Planning Director in November after a highly successful career advising housebuilders and property developers.
